The Ask the Expert digital motor control configurator is an intuitive graphics-based product selection tool that helps automation engineers to configure motor control systems quickly and easily. A talking avatar called Stan guides engineers through a simple stepwise process of inputting required parameters, such as power supply voltage, motor power and contactor coil voltage.
Ask the Expert then presents matching product options that allow engineers to make a full system selection, including relevant inverter drives, contactors and motor starters. The Ask the Expert motor control configurator is the result of an ongoing digital partnership between RS and Schneider, where both companies work in collaboration towards inventive digital tools to streamline the sometimes challenging process of accurate product selection.
