July 9, 2015 - RST Rabe-System-Technik expands Euro-Top FrontFix cable gland, now available in sizes M16, M20, M25 and M32 and in gray and black colors.
The cable gland is suitable for front assembly on electronic housings and switch cabinets without the need for special installation tools. Processes are shortened and the daily work involved in clamping cables made much easier without the otherwise usual and cost-intensive threaded holes or lock nuts.
Thanks to its anchoring system, the cable gland can be installed smoothly and extremely quickly in walls with metric through-holes. A special spring mechanism prevents the anchoring system from twisting by holding the cable gland in place without the latter having to be additionally secured inside the enclosure during the installation. This connection technology also allows defined tolerances in the through-holes to be bridged, particularly with thin-walled sheet metal housings and non-circular bore holes.
Euro-Top FrontFix is available in the colors RAL 7001 (dark grey), RAL 7035 (light grey) and RAL 9005 (black). In addition, a host of special colors can also be offered at the customer's request. For flexible use, the FrontFix cable glands can also be combined with any Euro-Top series sealing rings, such as reducing or multiple rings.
