The Virtual Standardâ technology can be used in most measurement applications.
Virtual Standards’ innovative contribution to metrology is based on its proprietary algorithms for setting individual adjustments in measured devices to compensate for probable errors and bring higher accuracy (as much as 3 to 6 times improvement) to the measured value. The system decreases both random and systematic errors, and has been proven by hundreds of experiments in flow metering and in the measurement of pressure, temperature, electrical values, electrical consumption metering, frequency, and laser radiation power.The technology is applicable not only to new measurement and control systems, but also to existing measurement equipment, where it can be applied for improved calibration and for testing of components and of the total system.
It can be applied remotely by interfacing special client software to a remote data processing center via the Internet, or through a PC compatible USB device, or with an embedded chip.The system offers two major benefits:
