PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa, Aug. 25, 2026 — S4 Integration recently concluded its highly successful Technology showcase Open Day events, hosting two impactful events in Pretoria on the July 24 and at its main branch in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) on the Aug. 14.
Designed to highlight the latest advancements in automation, robotics and manufacturing technologies, the dual events brought together over 200 industry delegates and featured more than 25 leading exhibitors across both regions. The platforms provided dynamic environments for technical demonstrations, high-level networking and collaborative discussions shaping the future of South African industry.
Exhibitors expressed enthusiastic approval for the caliber of attendees and the efficient coordination of the events. Jessica Cawood from DC Auto-Motion highlighted the strategic value and vibrant professional atmosphere fostered by S4 Integration.

Reinforcing its commitment to youth empowerment and skills development within the STEM disciplines, S4 Integration also invited seven top-performing mechanical and engineering students from Nelson Mandela University (NMU) to attend the Port Elizabeth event. The act aimed to provide deserving students with direct exposure to commercial industrial application and real-world technology innovation.
The experience offered invaluable hands-on insights for the students as they prepare to enter the engineering landscape.
“One of the reasons why I came here was to see companies showcase their work, and one of the companies that I found interesting was a laser company called REA. I am a mechanical engineering student and we are currently doing design and we will be using lasers, so I find it very interesting learning about different laser machines,” shared Okuhle Sosibo, a mechanical engineering student at Nelson Mandela University.
