August 4, 2016– Schaefer, Inc. announces the C600 Series of DC-DC and AC-DC converter modules. The 3U design uses industrial-grade components and provides a solution for wayside signal and communication installations globally. These units are ideal for redundant systems with two units per 19” sub-rack.
The C600 Series delivers up to 500W of power and offers DC input voltage range of 10-380VDC with seven input range choices. AC input options are single-phase 115VAC or 230VAC (with or without PFC) or three-phase inputs of 3x200VAC. These modules are single output and are available in 12 standard ranges from 5-400VDC.
All outputs are adjustable and tightly regulated to 0.2% (load) and 0.1% (line). Featuring natural convection cooling and a standard operating temperature range of –20°C to +75°C (derate 2.5% / °C from +55°C), with an option for -40°C to +75°C.
Modules are housed in an industry-standard 3U form factor for insertion into 19” sub-racks or optional wall, chassis and DIN-Rail mounting are available. Schaefer can also provide 19” sub-racks wired to customer requirements to complete the installation.
