The latest video describes multi-communications capabilities in a remote terminal unit (RTU).

June 28, 2012 - Semaphore introduced a new installment in the SCADA training video series devoted to innovative SCADA RTU solutions. The video series, featuring Semaphore Technical Support Manager Jean Burton as Dr. TBox, provides tips and insights on making most of SCADA applications. The latest video describes multi-communications capabilities in a remote terminal unit (RTU). Exemplified by Semaphore's TBox products, today's RTUs are increasingly often installed in applications requiring simultaneous network communications over diverse networks and using multiple communications protocols.

Software tools that expedite communications configuration and hardware/firmware platforms that efficiently handle multi-communications are critical to project success. The video series is available on Semaphore's Web site, which details their offering of complete integration of TBox and Kingfisher SCADA system, control, and communications products. The free training videos emphasize the latest product releases and, ultimately, cover all aspects of Semaphore's TBox and Kingfisher SCADA system product lines. Burton earned the title of Dr. TBox after many successful years of working with Semaphore customers in technical support and teaching training classes.

CSE-Semaphore's Kingfisher and TBox RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control applications in the asset management, broadcast/telecom, infrastructure management, oil & gas, power, transportation and water / wastewater industries.
