May 9, 2012 - Serapid built five custom push-pull quick die change systems for Prensa Jundai, one of the largest die press manufacturers in Brazil. The installation was made up of three floor mounted and two cart mounted die transport and positioning systems, utilizing Serapid’s unique Rigid Chain Technology. The Rigid Chain is powered electro-mechanically with no hydraulics or pneumatics involved, and needs little maintenance. The chain technology allows for accurate, repeatable positioning even over large distances, and is not only particularly well suited to harsh conditions, can also be used in a clean room environment. Serapid specializes in producing custom-built Quick Die Change systems, and has a team of engineers available to design systems for any environment.
