July 18, 2016 - Sercos International e.V., provider of the Sercos automation bus, and the SPS-MAGAZIN, a media partner from the TeDo publishing firm, are inviting users and providers from the machine & plant engineering sector as well as equipment & automation manufacturers to the 2nd Machine Communication Forum. The event will take place in the Marienberg Fortress in Würzburg on October 13, 2016 from 9 am to 4.30 pm.
Various presentations will be given under the theme “Industry 4.0 from Various Perspectives”, beginning with the keynote address “Legal Challenges of Digitalization and Solution Approaches” by Dr. Thalhofer, Noerr LLP.
Prof. Dr. -Ing. Birgit Vogel-Heuser of Technische Universität München will hold the subsequent lecture “On the Dissolution of the Automation Pyramid: Machine Communication in the Smart Factory.”
The following presentations focusing on trends provide insight and an overview on the topics of TSN, OPC UA, and potential future markets for German machine engineering.
The afternoon begins with a discussion on the Internet of things. Subsequently, the participants have the opportunity to delve deeper into individual specialist topics in 9 sessions taking place simultaneously.
