The 4-axis motion controller interfaces to servo drives and I/Os via EtherCAT or CANopen.

November 17, 2015 - Servotronix introduces softMC 3, a 4-axis motion controller that uses the Linux operating system with real-time extensions to ensure precise coordinated motion.

This product has a small footprint, and is suitable for controlling mechanical stages, gantry tables, DELTA and SCARA robots.

Interface to servo drives and I/Os is via EtherCAT or CANopen, enabling customers to choose what is right for their application. An Ethernet port provides TCP/IP interface to a host computer, and Modbus TCP software enables fast and easy connection to a multitude of HMIs and operator panels.

softMC 3 is designed to seamlessly integrate with Servotronix’s servo and stepper drive-motor systems, including the stepIM integrated stepper motors, to provide a complete motion solution in a cost effective package.
