The IQG inductive proximity sensor sensors from SICK are designed to fit into most brackets for easy replacement and less downtime.

May 10, 2016 – SICK, a manufacturer of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, encoders and automatic identification solutions announced the IQG inductive proximity sensor for reliable detection in a wide variety of applications.

The IQG inductive sensors from SICK are designed to fit into most brackets for easy replacement and less downtime. In addition, the four corner LEDs enable status monitoring, regardless of mounting position.

In addition, the new IQG inductive proximity sensor also features a sensor head that can be rotated in 5 directions, allowing the sensor to be adapted to suit a wide range of applications. With SICK’s Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) technology, the IQG inductive proximity sensor features ambient temperature range from –25 °C to 85 °C, excellent resistance to shock and vibrations, and electromagnetic compatibility. The IQG sensors can be placed in a wider variety of applications now with IP 68 and IP 69K enclosure ratings for operation in harsh environments.
