September 10, 2015 - Siemens releases MultiRanger 200 and HydroRanger 200 ultrasonic level controllers that provide measurement of level, flow, differential level, and volume conversion, with additional alarm and pump control functions.
Features include fast commissioning with an HMI (Human machine interface) and graphical Quick Start Wizard as well as an enclosure with removable terminal blocks. The controllers also offer a wider range of communication options including Profibus DPV1 industrial protocol.
MultiRanger 200 and HydroRanger 200 can be used in many branches of industry with applications ranging from water/wastewater monitoring via pumping stations or open channels, to inventory management of chemicals or liquids and truck load-outs.
MultiRanger 200 and Hydro-Ranger 200 provide users with repeatable, fast, and reliable measurements. The signal processing technology Sonic Intelligence, for instance, differentiates between true and false echoes which can be caused by electrical noise.
