Smart Vision Lights has launched its Configurable LSR300 linear light.

Norton Shores, Mich., Oct. 16, 2025 — Smart Vision Lights (SVL), a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative LED illumination solutions, has launched its Configurable LSR300 linear light, which has interchangeable OptiCard lens modifiers and optic windows for on-site customization.

The Configurable LSR300 offers three OptiCards for narrow, medium and wide beam angles along with three optic windows: clear for maximum intensity, diffused for even illumination and polarized for applications that require glare reduction. A simple end-cap removal allows systems integrators to quickly swap out components to shape the beam to match the application needs.

“Flexibility grows increasingly important in automation and machine vision applications over time, and the Configurable LSR300 was designed with this in mind,” said Steve VanderZwaag, president and CEO. “Instead of testing or deploying different lights, this product allows for quick but fine-tuned beam angle and light characteristic adjustments on the spot, where and when you need it.”

Flexibility for the lab or factory floor

The IP50-rated Configurable LSR300 features a built-in driver; a working distance of 200–2000 mm; three rugged and easily interchangeable OptiCards; and wavelengths of WHI, 470 nm, 530 nm, and 625 nm. In addition, the light features Multi-Drive functionality, offering both OverDrive and continuous mode functionality for a variety of machine vision applications. The light is designed for simple adjustment, easy reconfiguration and durability for both lab and field use.

“Whether it’s in a lab or on the factory floor, beam angles can be changed in just seconds by removing the end cap and OptiCard and sliding in the new OptiCard into its pre-aligned position, and optic windows can be adjusted as needed,” added VanderZwaag. “For example, if the application involves glare or shiny materials, the polarized optic window can slide in above the OptiCard to provide a clear image.”
