January 31, 2011 - Software Toolbox announces version 7 of the Cogent DataHub, which can connect, integrate, store and use real-time industrial process, embedded systems and financial systems data. The Cogent DataHub, from Cogent Real-Time Systems, builds on the success of the OPC DataHub that offers OPC tunneling, bridging and connectivity to databases, Excel and the Web. New features of the Cogent DataHub include the ability to switch between redundant OPC servers to store real-time histories of millions of data changes per second and display trend graphs of data points in real time. This new version also includes the first release of DataHub WebView. DataHub WebView is a rich Internet application for designing and delivering high-quality, real-time displays.
All page editing is done in a standard Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, and page updates can be automatically published as soon as changes are saved. Page designers have access to standard controls, gauges and 4,000 industry-standard symbols which can be easily configured to recognize condition states and to graphically notify operators of process status and anomalies.
