May 26, 2010 - SolaHD has expanded its engineering team with the appointment of Lynn Garcia as Safety and Compliance Engineer. In her new position, Ms. Garcia will be responsible for working with the various safety and compliance agencies in seeing that SolaHD power conditioners, power supplies, UPS and transformers are approved to necessary regulations, as well as to assure that SolaHD product certifications are correct and kept up to date.Ms. Garcia comes to SolaHD from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in Northbrook Illinois where she spent over ten years in functional compliance areas.
She received a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.
