November 11, 2009 - SolaHD announced that its complete line of surge protection devices have been evaluated and approved under ANSI/UL 1449 & UL Standard for Safety for Surge Protective Devices, UL 1449. Created by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the 3rd edition of UL 1449 replaces the 2nd edition, titled "Standard for Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors" (TVSSs).
