10mm and 15mm subminiature solenoid valves are for pneumatic automation and instrumentation.

June 24, 2015 - Solenoid Solutions introduces subminiature solenoid valves for pneumatic automation and instrumentation.

The valves offer low power consumption, high reliability at high flow rates, 145 maximum psig, and long service life. The 10mm and 15mm solenoid valves are ideal for air and inert gas applications where high performance in these key areas is essential. They are also suitable for oxygen service. The 2 and 3 way valves are typically mounted on a manifold due to their extremely small footprint.

The subminiature valves feature a heat-resistant coil encapsulated with a specially designed glass reinforced Polyamide or PET (polyethylene terephthalate), Class H copper wire, as well as stainless steel plunger guide, plunger and valve core. The valve assembly is designed for millions of cycles, is normally provided with Buna seals and a monostable manual override, and comes in a variety of electrical connections.

The coil is designed and manufactured to NEMA 3 and NEMA 4 requirements and is stable for industrial ambient conditions and conforms with 94/9 EC ATEX for electrical apparatus of group II, Category 3.

The valves are delivered with a specially designed seal and screws for assembly to a valve base or manifold.
