Features include quick locking and secure mating, IP67/IP68 rating and an outdoor-use capability. The UTS MPO series is perfectly suited for the railway, automation, and security markets that make use of fiber optics for greater efficiency and that demand quicker data transmission at a higher rate.
The UTS-MPO series has an ergonomic 1/3-turn quick locking with an audible click. Through its thermoplastic UL94-V0 shell material, MPO protection, and high strength cable retention, the MPO Series offers unparalleled secure mating. The optical contact multi-sourcing design featuring MPO standard connectors from 12 to 48 optical fibers offers greater flexibility and choices for customers.
The UTS-MPO series also withstands harsh environmental conditions, such as temperatures ranging from -40°C to +105°C and salt mist for 96 hours. Its dynamic IP67/IP68 rating makes it waterproof and able to endure underwater conditions. Furthermore, its UV resistance ensures that there is no mechanical degradation or corrosion after 5 years of exposure in natural environments. It is also RoHS compliant and conforms to China’s SJ/T1166-2006 standard.
