January 5, 2009 - Spartan Scientific’s Series 3824 direct acting, 2-way, 2-position or 3-way, 2-position, normally closed or normally open solenoid valve is designed to replace a fitting using a female inlet and male outlet port. The composite body valve is mounted into an air cylinder port to control a single acting linear actuator. This proven solenoid operator is available in either a brass and stainless or all stainless pilot design, has optional seal materials and a nylon encapsulated coil. Its basket orifice design features 8 sizes that can be changed quickly to meet flow requirements. The 3824 operates in a pressure range of vacuum to 200 psi, determined by the orifice size, and has an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +50°C.
