Spartan Scientific Model CRDV (Condensation Removal Drain Valve) removes condensation from any point in an air system. The modular CRDV with its separate yet 100% interchangeable components provides customization and serviceability and offers a wide variety of timing and flow capacities to solve most condensation removal problems. The CSA-approved all solid state CRT timer features quick disconnect electrical connections, is specifically engineered for condensation removal, and has standard time ranges of 0.5 to 25 seconds “on” and 1 to 45 minutes “off.” Custom time ranges are available.
The water resistant, nylon shell “sandwich” timer fits between a DIN 43650 cord set and a Spartan solenoid valve. One LED on the timer indicates when power is attached or removed; and a second LED indicates when the valve is draining. The CRDV 2-way, 2-position normally closed stainless steel and brass Spartan solenoid valve uses Viton elastomer sealing material, is impervious to synthetic compressor lubricants, offers a high life cycle and low maintenance, and features a full ½” orifice. Model CRDV valves are available in ¼”, 3/8”, and ½” NPT and can accommodate pressures up to 230 PSI.
