June 4, 2013 - Spectronics introduced the OPK-441 Leak Detection Kit, which is suitable for finding oil-based fluid leaks quickly and easily in hydraulic systems, compressors, engines, gearboxes and fuel systems. The main component of the OPK-441 kit is the OPTIMAX 400 LED leak detection flashlight. Its high-output violet light LED causes fluorescent dyes to glow more brightly and with greater contrast than with standard blue light inspection lamps, pinpointing the exact source of every leak. Also included in the kit are an 8 oz (237 ml) twin-neck bottle of patented OIL-GLO 44 concentrated fluorescent dye, an 8 oz spray bottle of GLO-AWAY dye cleaner, dye treatment tags and fluorescence-enhancing glasses. All of these components are packed in a rugged carrying case.
