J Series has been tested to meet International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) IP ratings.
April 22, 2015 – Stahlin’s J Series non-metallic enclosures meet the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) IP ratings. The new ratings are based on a proven ability to withstand intrusion by something as small and gentle as a particle of dust and as large and strong as water “projected in powerful jets.”
Stahlin’s J Series is now listed for these IP ratings:
- UL Listed to IEC60529 Standard
- J Series rated to IP66
- F Series (Small Junction) rated to IP68
- CF (Small Junction) Series rated to IP68
The Stahlin J Series product line was designed as an industrial enclosure for harsh, aggressive environments. Originally developed as an electrical junction box for the oil refining and petrochemical industries, the J series has evolved into a versatile industrial enclosure line available in 16 sizes with varied applications for use from high-end electronics to extreme corrosive applications both indoors and out.
