March 10, 2015 - Tatsoft announced FactoryStudio Release 3 HMI/SCADA software with 5,000 additional vector symbols and flexible ways to link Assets and Tags with dynamic graphical representation.

FactoryStudio is a development platform built in the Microsoft .NET Framework, delivering solutions to run on Windows PCs, Web browsers, tablets, virtual machines and mobile devices.

Release 3 extends the concept of the real-time in-memory database used by SCADA and HMI factory-floor tools, to a complete set of business entities able to deliver applications ranging from standalone HMIs to IT Operations Centers and Management Execution Systems.

Development of graphic displays is made even easier; Release 3 added over 5,000 additional vector symbols and flexible ways to link Assets and Tags with dynamic graphical representation. FactoryStudio also provides tools for Tag importing and synchronization with Rockwell PLCs, OSIsoft PI System, PI AF, XML, SQL or OPC servers. Communication protocols to numerous devices are also included: ControlLogix, MicroLogix, PLC5/SLC500, Siemens S7, Modbus, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Omron, Mitsubishi, National Instruments Labview, WITS and many others.

Annotations and Alarms on Trend Charts, smooth filtering, recipe overlays, data exporting tools, Web Gateways with Windows Authentication or WS-Federation security, Tag-level access authorization, enhancements on built-in C#/VB.NET editor and debugger, easy integration with external DLLs or Graphical Controls, embedded-SQL and WEB, are some of new features included, a truly modern Google Search enabled help system, with automatic language translation, all empower users to flourish in todays’ environments.
