The RJ45 Cat 6A plug offers a ruggedized design for use in industrial Ethernet applications and is equipped with termination technology.
November 10, 2016 – TE Connectivity has extended its RJ45 product family with an RJ45 Cat 6A plug that can be terminated without tools, through Cat 6A cables.
This TE plug is capable of terminating the most commonly used wire variant Cat 6A and can handle 10 Gbps rates, supporting bandwidths of up to 500 MHz.
As with all of TE´s Industrial Ethernet RJ45 connectors, the RJ45 Cat 6A plug offers a ruggedized design for use in industrial Ethernet applications and is equipped with termination technology.
The plug features an automatic wire cut-off function for error-free installation and performance in the field. By closing the core housing, the excess wire is cut off, while at the same time the wires are connected to the plug contacts.
