The Linea 16k CLHS model offers solutions for flat panel display, printed circuit board, web inspection and general purpose machine vision applications.

March 21, 2017 – Teledyne DALSA announced the extension of its Linea family of line scan cameras with a 16k CLHS model.

The Linea 16k CLHS camera delivers the features found in the current lineup of cameras. Based on the CMOS line scan technology, the camera employs a 16k single line, 3.52 µm x 3.52 µm pixel array at a 71 kHz maximum line rate. The model offers solutions for flat panel display, printed circuit board, web inspection and general purpose machine vision applications.

Linea cameras are compact with flat-field correction, multiple ROI and AOI, multiple user configuration sets, and calibration coefficients for various lighting conditions.

With its CLHS interface, the 16k model effectively reduces the number of cables required from its companion Camera Link models, allowing for distances of up to 15 metres on copper with support for plug-in active optical fiber cables for deployment beyond 15 metres.
