The cooperation between FIT and Telit will focus on transforming the business service and offerings of manufacturers, enabling them to capitalize on all the benefits of Industrie 4.0.

April 28, 2017 – Telit, an enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), announced its cooperation with IT provider Freudenberg IT on industrial device management, utilizing the Telit deviceWISE IIoT platform. Freudenberg IT (FIT) is part of the Freudenberg group, a global technology group employing more than 40,000 people worldwide. As Cloud partner of Germany’s SMB, FIT specializes in industrial shop floor solutions and SAP consulting services, both for the Freudenberg group and external clients.

The cooperation between FIT and Telit will focus on transforming the business service and offerings of manufacturers, enabling them to capitalize on all the benefits of Industrie 4.0. With Telit’s software platform technology and Industrie 4.0 know-how, paired with FIT’s integration and implementation in the industrial market, manufacturers can digitize their entire supply chains.

By utilizing the deviceWISE IIoT platform and the Cloud-based Telit IoT Portal, Freudenberg IT is now able to generate data from devices, machines and programmable logic controllers from all major vendors and make that data immediately available to backend systems, such as SAP. In addition, deviceWISE offers a library of pre-configured drivers for Modbus, OPC DA/UA and other communication protocols.
