eLynx Technologies will integrate Theta’s XSPOC rod pump optimization and SCADA software with SCADALynx web-based SCADA application.

August 31, 2010 - Theta Oilfield Services and eLynx Technologies will integrate Theta’s rod pump optimization and SCADA software with eLynx’s SCADALynx web-based SCADA application. “Theta has a suite of highly-specialized diagnostic analysis tools, which many eLynx customers will use to optimize their rod pumps,” says John Powers, eLynx Technologies COO. “Bringing these tools into SCADALynx using XSPOC, will enable producers to monitor, analyze, and control their rod pumps in the same interface where they monitor all their other production operations equipment such as electronic flow meters, compressors, plungers, and electronic submersible pumps.”

“Theta is pleased to be able to offer XSPOC capabilities within SCADALynx for customers that seek a web-based, solution for their SCADA needs,” says Terry Treiberg, Theta Oilfield Services XSPOC Product Manager. “eLynx has a built-in market for our diagnostics and optimization tools which we hope to leverage with this relationship.”The two companies will work together to integrate many of XSPOC’s enhanced rod pumping features into the user interface of SCADALynx.

Customers will be able to have cursory views of their rod pump data and then have the ability to launch a full suite of Theta tools from the SCADALynx interface.Theta Oilfield Services, Inc. was founded as Theta Enterprises, Inc. in 1989 and has since become the leader in rod pumping design and diagnostics software, as well as in oilfield “SMART” SCADA technology. Theta, with headquarters in La Habra, CA, is a division of Norris Production Solutions, and part of Dover Corporation (stock symbol “DOV”).

Since 2000, eLynx Technologies has provided real-time data collection, production reporting, trending, well monitoring, optimization and control via the internet for the oil and gas industry. The company services more than 300 exploration and production companies and operates in more than 25 states.
