Thiele introduces Smart Screen control system for dairy palletizers

Smart Screen offers indicators to help operators and maintenance personnel diagnose line problems, minimize downtime and increase productivity.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — May 1, 2008 — Thiele Technologies developed a Smart Screen control system to assist operators of dairy palletizers. Smart Screen control system utilizes full-color touch-screen technology and offers a wide spectrum of indicators to help operators and maintenance personnel diagnose line problems, minimize downtime and increase productivity. In addition to diagnosing problems such as faulty electrical or pneumatic components, Smart Screen maintains a detailed history of machine uptime and downtime, providing an accurate record for operation, management and quality control.

Additional diagnostic indicators include such items as: • Waiting For Product • Pallet Not In Position • Full Pallet At Discharge • Pusher Not Back • Pallet Jam At Magazine • E-Stop Pushed • Bander Jam The Smart Screen control system integrates seamlessly into most palletizer systems and can also be used on the Thiele Pak Tek caser.
