Schaumburg, IL – (September 1, 2006) - THK’s new Type SRS-N features a longer block and an increased load rating and moment capacity compared to the company’s successful Type SRS LM guide. The block body, however, consists of resin molding for reduced weight.Type SRS-N block lengths start from size 9 to 15.
This is an increase in block length from the Type SRS, where block lengths range from 30.8 mm to 55.5 mm.
The dynamic load rating for the Type SRS-N starts at 3.48 C (kN) (2.69 for the Type SRS), while static load ratings start at 3.34 Co(kN) (2.31for the Type SRS).
Featuring patented THK Caged Technology, the Type SRS-N performs with smooth, quiet motion. Caged Technology employs a synthetic resin cage with a patented curvature that cradles each ball and separates it from the next. The spaces between the rolling elements retain grease and act as a lubrication system for long-term maintenance-free operation.
