January 18, 2007 - The SWIMS (Simple Wireless Information Management System) is a low cost and fully programmable data collection and satellite telemetry platform designed for remote and offsite monitoring. The unit features multiple analog, digital, RS232 serial, pulse, and frequency inputs. The system is housed in a IP67 sealed enclosure and is designed for long term deployment in harsh environments. The field controller transmits data to the SWIMS internet application via satellite telemetry on pre-programmed or event driven intervals. The SWIMS internet application provides users secure 24/7 access to data, and provides an intuitive interface for device configuration, graphing and download of data, report generation, and alarming.
An optional power pack adds a 10 watt solar panel and sealed battery with digital charge regulator for a fully self contained system. The system is ideally suited for remote asset and wide area monitoring and control applications. Private label programs are available.
