Datasheet details GiantDragon Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) machine vision cameras.

November 6, 2008 - Toshiba Teli Corporation has published a free color datasheet that details its new GiantDragon Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) machine vision cameras. Comprised of five monochrome and four color models, the GiantDragon line leverages the AIA GigE Vision open standard that enables real-time delivery of high bandwidth streams of non-compressed data to host PCs over standard CAT-5e and CAT 6 cables without the use of specialized interface hardware or expensive frame grabbers. System integrators can select from GiantDragon cameras offering up to 90 frames-per-second and resolutions as high as 1600 x 1200 (UXGA).

Housings for all cameras are identical, measuring a compact 44mm x 29mm x 70mm (W X H x D).GiantDragon cameras are ideal for a wide range of industrial inspection and machine vision applications, and are especially well-suited for high-speed electronics and LCD inspection, 3-D measurement, OCR, medical imaging, gauging and intelligent transportation systems.
