April 9, 2018 - TRACO POWER has announced the TSR 2 series of step-down switching regulators that are drop-in replacement for LMxx linear regulators. An efficiency up to 96 % allows full load operation up to +67°C ambient temperature (full-load) without any heat-sink or forced cooling.
The TSR 2 switching regulators come in a SIP Package that measures 0.55 x 0.30 x 0.40”.
The product family consists of 14 models with output voltages ranging 1.2 ~ 15VDC. All models are tightly regulated and operate with 1% load variation from 0~100%, overload protection, and reliability exceeding 13 Million hours per MIL-HDBK-217F.
The DC input ranges from 3.0 to 36.0 VDC depending on the model which make them suitable for point of load regulators for industrial and battery powered applications.
