Fort Wayne, Indiana - October 2021 - Trelleborg Sealing Solutions broadens its offering within its Chemical Transportation Seals-Shop by giving its US customers the option of purchasing individual components as opposed to complete kits. Thijs Menzel, chemical transport segment manager, said: “The Seals-Shop provides a great avenue for customers to place orders whenever they want. To this point, they have only been able to purchase parts in complete kits. The option to purchase components as separate pieces now enables them to buy only what they need, offering greater convenience and cost savings.”
The Chemical Transportation Seals-Shop, launched in July 2020, provides convenient, 24/7 online ordering of repair kits and seals for valves and other components critical to the function of tank cars, ISO containers, and tank trucks used for chemical transportation. Many customers are now using it to place 100% of their orders and to research pricing and product information. They can also track shipments, pay invoices and access their complete order history. Future enhancements to the Chemical Transportation Seals-Shop include the addition of more products, along with an extension of the site from just US customers, to customers in Canada and Mexico as well.
