Turck Announces New Vice President of Sales
April Ankrum will lead US Sales and Customer Service Teams.

Turck, a manufacturer of sensors, connectivity and fieldbus technology for factory, logistics and process automation, today announced it has named April Ankrum as its new Vice President of Sales in the United States. In this role, she will lead the sales channel, which includes direct sales, sales representative network, distributor partners in addition to customer service. She is tasked with ensuring Turck continues to increase revenue with innovative automation solutions, a knowledgeable sales force and best-in-class customer support. “We are thrilled that April will lead our sales and customer support teams in the US through the next phase of growth,” said Turck Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors and Interim President & CEO, Dietrich Turck.

“As a long-time Turck employee, April has deep knowledge of our solutions, target industries, market strategy and the needs of our customers,” he continued. An engineering and product management leader with more than 20 years of experience, April most recently served as the Director of Product Management for Connectivity. Before that, she spent nine years in several product management roles at Turck. April’s considerable experience in product strategy, manufacturing, and engineering management in addition to her passion for customer service will be crucial to Turck’s success and future relationships with its customers. “I am very passionate about the success of our customers.

We must not only meet their needs but anticipate them as well. I am committed to being deeply engaged and invested in their future as we partner together to deliver innovative solutions,” April commented. April holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Management and Engineering for Manufacturing from the University of Connecticut in addition to multiple certifications from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
