Richardson, Texas – June 18, 2003 – USDATA Corporation (OTCBB: USDC) announced today that it has filed a Form 15 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to terminate the registration of its common stock pursuant to the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Company has made this filing to eliminate certain costs, such as professional fees, associated with the registration of its common stock, among other reasons. The Company does not believe that the termination of this registration will have any impact on its day-to-day operations, other than such costs savings.
