ValvTechnologies announces Herman Bernard as Director of Manufacturing

Based in Houston, Benard will have senior management responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ Manufacturing groups, leading the achievement of production, safety, as well as spearheading manufacturing process continuous improvements.

October 19, 2016 – ValvTechnologies, Inc., manufacturer of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, named Herman Benard, Jr. Director of Manufacturing, announced company President Kevin Hunt.

Based in Houston, Benard will have senior management responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ Manufacturing groups, leading the achievement of production, productivity, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals, as well as spearheading manufacturing process continuous improvements.

An operations and engineering professional with nearly 20 years’ manufacturing experience in various industries, Benard brings significant leadership and operations experience to ValvTechnologies. Prior to joining ValvTechnologies, Benard served as Manufacturing Manager for Thrustmaster of Texas, Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Igloo Products Corporation; earlier in his career he held various positions like Plant Manager, Assembly Manager and Injection Mold Manager.

Benard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lamar University and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
