February 11, 2019 – ValvTechnologies, manufacturer of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, announced the appointment of Keith Whittaker as Director of Global Quality Management.
Based in Houston, Whittaker will report to company president, Kevin Hunt, and be responsible for global quality standards, programs and systems. In this role, he will lead the development and continuous improvement of our quality programs and processes to support the growth and globalization of the company.
Most recently, Whittaker served as Director of Quality for General Plastics and Composites, L.P. for six years, where he developed and managed the corporate quality program and systems. Previously, he held senior Quality Management positions at Oceaneering International, Inc., Dana Corporation, and E-Z-GO Textron.
He brings a comprehensive quality management and business leadership experience base to ValvTechnologies, together with a track record of process improvement and change agency.
Whittaker attended the University of West Florida, graduating at a double major with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering Technology. He is Certified Master Six Sigma Black Belt, an ISO certified auditor, and a member in good standing of numerous quality professional organizations.
