January 8, 2015 - VarTech Systems released a 21.5 inch NEMA 4 (IP65) black powder coat and NEMA 4X (IP66) 316 stainless steel display. These rugged panel mount designs feature true 1080p resolution and are available with an optional touch screen. Designed for 24/7 operation, the 21.5” panel LCDs can function in operational temperatures of 0° to 60°C with wider operational temperatures available.
The flat panel display of the 21.5” industrial panel LCDs has a standard brightness of 300 nits and an optional 1000 nit high bright version. Sunlight readable models are optically bonded with an anti-reflective, protective window for added shock and vibration protection and reduced solar reflectivity providing increased outdoor viewing capability. They are also equipped with VarTech's Optical Stack Enhancement (OSE) which is an optical design that boosts efficiency of the backlight's light utilization and minimizes the surface reflection of ambient light.
Optional features include a front bezel mounted manual dimmer control capable of illumination from 0 to 100 percent, 9-36VDC power supply, resistive or capacitive touch screen, and extended temperature range down to -20°C.
