February 27, 2012 – Vecow releases ARS-1000 series a fanless computer equipped with Intel Atom D525 1M cache, 1.8GHz processor, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 3 RS-232 and 1 RS-232/422/485, external accessible CFast, 5 USB, Isolated DIO, three 1394a ports (ARS-1100 model), Mini PCIe socket, and DC-IN 16 to 28 V. With fanless thermal, compact size, small footprint, and wide operating temperatures -20°C ~ 70°C (4°F ~ 157°F), ARS-1000 series provides high performance, high versatility, and easy to install in field cabinets. ARS-1000 series is an ideal industrial automation solution for factory automation, machinery computer, machine automation, automated optical inspection, solar panel inspection, and packaging machinery.
ARS-1000 series is equipped with a programmable GPIO 16-step rotary switch and 4 mode/status LED display providing adaptability for various environment requests. With OS and driver supports, such as Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP Pro, and even Linux, ARS-1000 Series is an application-ready platform that provides multipurpose applications. In addition, the ARS-1000 series is designed with Mini PCIe, CFast, and 5 USB.
Optional PCI-104 (ARS-1000 model), PC/104+ and 1394a (ARS-1100 model) daughterboards provide optimum choices for multi-function applications which involve with the flexibility for increasing their adaptability and upgradability such as Wi-Fi, 3G modules, additional I/O, CAN, and fieldbus cards. For installation on site and built into machines, ARS-1000 series are shipped with DIN-rail and two types of wall-mount kits to fit in different environments.
