THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Feb. 18, 2026 — Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (“Fortifi”) announces the appointment of Mel Cohen to the company's board of directors effective immediately. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Chicago-based CC Industries (CCI), Cohen has a lengthy track record with investments and acquisitions in a dynamic international enterprise.
While he served as CCI's Vice President of Corporate Development, Cohen led the acquisition of Formax, Weiler-Beehive and Young and Associates to form Provisur Technologies, of which he served as President and CEO through 2022. He led Provisur through a period of significant growth powered by new product development, global expansion and targeted acquisitions.
