Viatran is proud to launch the WW517 for WasteWater applications. The Model WW517 is a 316L liquid level transmitter with a 3" Diameter opened faced Teflon coated sensor. It’s designed for instances when the media is ‘chunky’. It will be officially launched in October. The new design of the WW517 stops this from occurring.This unit can also be calibrated remotely, which is nice since the environment where this is used isn’t a fun place. Thanks to the optional HART protocol, the WW517 remote calibration and ranging occurs even while the unit is submersed.The all-welded sensor design eliminates the need for an O-Ring seal, thereby eliminating potential leak paths. Our unique vulcanized cable seal ensures watertight integrity of the unit, up to 500 PSI.
The Model ww517's internal circuitry provides voltage surge (lightning) protection, while the 4-20 mA output signal minimizes potential outside interference and signal degradation. This feature is important when the signal travels over long cable lengths. This model is available with an Intrinsically Safe design.The Model WW517 is now available for purchase.
