April 28, 2015 - For applications where installation space is at a premium, Vision Components offer their fast high-performance board camera VCSBC6211nano in an even smaller version with external sensor board.
Due to the camera's extremely compact Remote Head (RH), the VCSBC6211nano RH gives users maximum installation flexibility. The sensor connects to the CPU board via ribbon cable and can be easily installed even in the smallest of installation environments with measurements of only 40 x 60 mm (CPU board) and 18 x 24 mm (external sensor board) and optional cable lengths of 30 or 80 mm, this intelligent board camera is smaller than the versions without a remote head.
VCSBC6211nano RH independently executes all image processing tasks without an external PC. Images are recorded by means of a global shutter CMOS sensor, providing clear, high-resolution pictures even in extremely fast applications.
The board camera features a 700 MHz processor, 32 MB Flash EPROM, 128 MB SDRAM memory space and 5,600 MIPS processing power. It is also equipped with an Ethernet and an RS232 interface. All VC nano series models are available as V.24 versions and with an IP68 protective housing as well as with color or monochrome sensor.
