December 3, 2019 – Watlow introduced its PM PLUS, an enhanced version of the EZ-ZONE PM temperature controller. The PM PLUS is designed to be more intuitive than its predecessor and features an improved user interface for set up, programming and readability.
The PM PLUS has a full-color front-panel display with characters and color coding making the display visible from many angles. It also has a smooth-touch keypad, which eliminates the legacy rubber buttons that can wear out from use and harsh environments. The keypad also eliminates contamination points and creates a seal on the front of the controller.
The PM PLUS is backward-compatible with legacy EZ-ZONE PM controllers, but offers many user upgrades including a menu flow allowing the controller to be configured. It also continues to offer the Bluetooth connectivity with the EZ-LINK mobile app for remote access capability and full descriptions of parameters and error codes.
Like the legacy EZ-ZONE PM, the PM PLUS can be ordered as a PID controller, or an integrated controller with multiple functions combined into one.
