October 9, 2014 - Jervis B. Webb announces 300TT Automatic Guided Cart (AGC). The 300TT (Tunnel/Tugger) SmartCart AGC provides a flexible and affordable way to move products on an assembly line or to transport goods throughout a plant or warehouse with the capability to tunnel under carriers. The 300TT SmartCart AGC is capable of towing up to 4,000 pounds and carrying up to 2,400 pounds.
This model is available with a 1-1/4 ∫ diameter pop-up pin that allows trailers to be towed from underneath, commonly referred to as ‘tunneling.’ This allows for automatic coupling and decoupling of trailers, increasing flexibility within the assembly or warehouse operation. AGCs provide increased flexibility because the magnetic path that they travel on can be quickly installed and modified to meet changing production needs. AGV systems are also scalable allowing capacity to be easily increased or decreased by adding or removing vehicles.
