May 16, 2010 – Weidmuller announces solid-state relays with state-of-the-art technology. These relays operate through a patented pulse transformer technology that offers numerous advantages over electromechanical relays and solid-state opto-couplers. These advantages include high transient immunity and high input-to-output isolation– all with no minimum load requirements. Designed for difficult industrial applications that frequently include electrical drives, the Delcon Series utilizes pulse transformer isolation and protective load circuitry to ensure long life operation. Weidmuller’s new offering of Delcon Series relays is available in a range of input and output versions for both AC and DC voltages.
