Werner Setzwein will speak at ARC Advisory Group's "Winning Strategies for Global Manufacturers" Forum in Boston on June 25th-27th at the Marriott Long Wharf hotel. He will share his insight on BASF’s motivation to Benchmark in Automation and review some of the lessons learned from benchmarking. Werner Setzwein is responsible for electrical, instrumentation, and automation engineering for BASF chemical projects worldwide and active member of BASF’s Technical Community. He began his career as a design engineer, commissioning engineer, and construction manager for power plants. While at BASF, he has performed as an E&I project engineer for chemical plants and was also responsible for the engineering and construction of the BASF natural gas distribution pipeline system (WINGAS).
