The West + Series of temperature controllers provide an excellent range of functionality combined with reliability and ease of use.
Remote set point inputs and digital inputs are facilitated by the + Series controllers and there is jumperless input configuration. The main control output is a plug in option board which can be specified as either Relay, Logic, Analogue or Triac. The analogue output may be configured to 0/4-20mA, 0/1-5V, 0/2-10V.
The controllers were designed with quick and easy set up in mind, making them very user friendly. Furthermore the operator/HMI menu is customisable to improve the user experience and save time. There is also Windows PC configuration software for remote set up and to allow settings to be copied across multiple controllers.
The controllers replace the legacy range of temperature controllers from West, 4100, 6100 and 8100 and therefore are backward compatible with panel cut out, housing and terminal wiring capability.
This range of controllers is most suitable for use in industrial applications by the following industries; Ovens and Furnaces, Plastics and Extrusions, Laboratory and Test Equipment and the Food and Beverage sector.
