GIRSA will provide Wilcoxon vibration monitoring products to industries in Mexico.

February 14, 2012 - Wilcoxon Research signs Mexican distributor, Grupo Industrial Rubalcava, S.A. de C.V. Also known as GIRSA, the authorized Wilcoxon reseller will provide vibration monitoring products to industries in Mexico.

GIRSA has been in business for over 27 years serving the Mexican power generation sector and other industrial markets from its offices in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Coatzacoalcos. Specializing in critical machinery diagnostics, GIRSA provides products to help with instrumentation, analysis and predictive maintenance. The staff at GIRSA has a combined experience of 140 years providing vibration monitoring equipment to Mexican industries. GIRSA’s Project Manager, Mrs.

Blanca Rubalcava, is “excited to add Wilcoxon Research products to GIRSA’s offerings” and “looks forward to seeing the impact that Lifetime Warranty has on the Mexican market.” To better support Spanish speaking customers, a translated 4 page product overview has been added to wilcoxon.com. In addition to Wilcoxon Research piezoelectric accelerometers, velocity sensors, cables, mounting accessories, vibration alarms, vibration transmitters, 4-20 mA vibration sensors and hazardous area sensors, GIRSA also handles Meggitt’s Vibro-Meter product line of vibration monitoring systems for total machinery protection, condition and performance monitoring.

Their long history of industry experience and familiarity with other Meggitt lines will enable GIRSA to immediately begin working with new Meggitt customers with a need for industrial balance of plant vibration monitoring. “Partnering with GIRSA will better serve our customers in Mexico” stated Paul Simpson, International Sales Manager for Wilcoxon Research products, “they will be assisted by people who are familiar with Meggitt product lines and have the industry experience to implement vibration monitoring systems for any application.”

The Wilcoxon Research lines offered by GIRSA include vibration monitoring products for industrial predictive maintenance applications and condition monitoring of fans, motors, pumps, blowers, compressors, chillers, gearboxes, and mixers, to significantly reduce failure rates in the field. GIRSA will serve customers in power generation as well as other industrial markets such as petrochemical, oil and gas, food and beverage, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, railway, steel making, pulp and paper, recycling and wastewater treatment plants. Meggitt Sensing Systems designs and manufactures the Wilcoxon Research product line of vibration sensors at its facility in Germantown, Maryland, USA.
