April 25, 2012 — Winsted introduced Winsted Equipment Layout Software (WELS) version 3.7.5. The update to this free, easy-to-use, interactive 3D design tool is available for immediate download.
WELS allows users to easily create console designs and room layouts using products from Winsted’s extensive product lines. This user-friendly tool provides full 3D design, parts lists, the ability to create specification sheets, and can export AutoCAD DWG files for 2D and 3D application. WELS v3.7.5 includes a variety of new consoles from which to choose, including flexible Prestige Slat-Wall consoles, space-saving Prestige Insight consoles and Prestige Ascend Sit/Stand consoles.
M-View monitor walls with quick-release adjustable brackets have also been included in this software update. Designed by Winsted specifically for M-View stock monitor walls, the patent pending quick-release bracket makes adjusting and reconfiguring monitors fast and easy. Also new to this version of the popular software is the ability to add columns, doors and windows to control room layouts. WELS can be used out of the box – no training is required and there’s no need to purchase additional CAD programs or tools. WELS is a FREE program that is truly standalone.
In WELS 3.7.5 users will be able to select monitor images for designs directly from an open dialog box.
