January 18, 2012 – WinSystems announced its 30th anniversary. Started in 1982 by Jerry Winfield, WinSystems initially focused on CMOS, low power, extended temperature STD Bus boards built to operate in harsh and demanding applications. Today, WinSystems designs and manufactures industry-standard PC/104, EPIC, EBX, SUMIT-ISM and STD Bus computer boards, I/O modules, and enclosures for use by OEMs and system integrators worldwide. Jerry Winfield, founder and President said, “It is an amazing milestone for any business and it demonstrates our stability, quality, reliability, and ongoing commitment to our customers.” Five years ago, in 2007, WinSystems became an employee-owned (ESOP) company.

It joined a growing list of successful companies whose employees are stockholders. This corporate structure offers stability and longevity for WinSystems Corporation insuring long-term availability of products for our customers. This is very important for industrial OEMs using embedded PC technology for their ongoing and future applications. Mr. Winfield added, “An ESOP benefits our customers by having a very talented and motivated workforce that is responsible for developing and supporting our products.

WinSystems focuses on industrial, transportation, medical, Mil/COTS, and communications markets that use embedded PC technology. We look forward to continuing our dedication to excellence well into the future.”
