Yokogawa releases CW500 power quality analyzer
The CW500 is a full function power quality analyzer with features that include power measuring and logging, power quality measuring and automatic detection of current clamp probe.

November 9, 2015 - Yokogawa releases CW500 power quality analyzer with features that include: power measuring and logging (1-phase 2-wire to 3-phase 4-wire), power quality measuring (voltage swell, voltage dip, voltage interruption, transient overvoltage, inrush current, harmonics and flickers), user support (start guide function and automatic detection of current clamp probe), and data analysis and report generation (automatically create graphs and reports of measured data by a single click).

The CW500 is available with or without Bluetooth and offers a selectable power cord based on customer standards.

Product Features

1. Power measuring and logging

a. Measures power lines of 1 phase 2 wire to 3 phase 4 wire.

b. Simultaneously measures voltage input 3CH, current input 4CH and DCV input 2CH.

c. Instantaneous, average, maximum, minimum values of voltage, current, power, power factor, phase angle, phase advanced capacitance calculation and DCV input

d. Integration value of active, reactive, apparent energy is each displayed by consumption and generation.

e. Demand power value can be monitored by graph screens of power consumption constantly comparing to aimed demand power value.

2. Power quality measuring

a. Instant malfunction such as voltage swell, voltage dip, voltage interruption, transient overvoltage, and inrush current are each checked as events and on occurrence waveforms, types of malfunction and time are recorded.

b. Continuous malfunction such as harmonics, flickers, voltage unbalance rate, current unbalance rate are recorded and waveforms can be displayed.

3. User support

a. Start guide function and automatic detection of type of current clamp-on probe supports secure wiring and settings before measuring.

3. Analysis of data and report generation with included PC software (CW500 Viewer)

a. Automatically create graphs and reports of measured data by a single click.

b. Uniform management of main unit settings

c. Real-time measuring by USB communication
